As the managing director of Edward Connor Solicitors, Gemma is responsible for strategy, compliance, and staff management.

Caroline leads our Charities team which specialises in Christian organisations and churches, on charity law and regulation, including governance and constitutional matters.

Vanessa is a dual-qualified solicitor in the Charities team, qualified in England and Wales (2024) and in Hong Kong (2019).

Mary is a Partner in the Charities Team. She specialises in advising Christian organisations on charity law matters.

As an Associate at Edward Connor Solicitors, Liz advises churches and Christian organisations primarily on governance issues.

Lynn is part of the Charities team and specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on their governance and constitutional matters, particularly focusing on helping churches become CIOs.

Rosie is part of the Charities team and specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on their governance and constitutional matters, particularly focusing on helping churches become CIOs.

Lynda is a Senior Associate solicitor in the Charities team. She specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on charity law matters, including advice on governance and constitutional issues.

Katherine is a solicitor in the Charities team, which specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on governance and constitutional matters.

Amy is a solicitor in the Charities Team, which specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on governance and constitutional matters, trustee duties and how churches can become Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs).

Lily joined ECS (known then as FIEC Practical Services) in 2017 to act as the Research and Advice Coordinator. She now acts as the paralegal for the Charities team which specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on their governance and constitutional matters.

Mark advises Christian organisations and churches on all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, data protection and human rights issues.

Mark has been recognised for his ‘dedicated’, ‘meticulous’, and ‘strategic’ approach to cases, and has successfully advised and represented many clients in complex and difficult discrimination claims.

Gemma is part of the Employment Team, advising churches and Christian organisations on all aspects of employment law and HR issues.

Steve joined the property team in 2024. He is excited to help churches and charities make the most of their properties and buildings, as bases for their ministries and places to welcome in, train up and send out.

Richard advises on all aspects of property law, including sales and purchases, leases, development and investment.

Chimdinma understands first-hand the challenges and opportunities that property can be for churches and Christian organisations.

Paul advises churches and Christian organisation on all aspects of property law.

Thomas is a Senior Associate on our Property team.

Ganine Eshun has recently re-joined ECS. She is an Advanced Paralegal of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and a Conveyancing Executive in the Property team, mainly dealing with residential conveyancing.

Debs is our Legal Support Team Manager. Her role involves leading the Support Team as well as finding creative solutions to the support needs of other staff.

Ele is part of the Legal Support team and also helps with Comms work.

Nush is part of the legal support team, primarily assisting the charity and employment teams.

Heather is part of the team which is responsible for supporting our legal teams with administrative and practical tasks.

David is responsible for our financial administration and management.

Ursula is part of the team responsible for our finances.

Jane is part of the team responsible for our finances.

Lindsey is responsible for delivering our communication strategy, facilitating both internal and external communications to increase our effectiveness.

Amanda is part of the administration team providing general support on office administration to staff and managers.
