There are some upcoming changes to the Legal Ombudsman rules which we are required to make you aware of. In addition to letting you know about them, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how important your feedback is, and how to go about sharing it with us.

Positive gospel partnership

We are committed to providing our clients with the very best, Christ-centred legal advice and client care. Legal processes can be difficult and we know that you desperately want to keep the focus on your ministry. We love our clients and want to partner with you in your gospel work, making the process as simple as it can be for you, supporting you in every way we can.

We’re delighted that we frequently receive positive client feedback and we’re so grateful to the clients that let us know how our work has helped them and their ministry. These are just some of the encouraging comments we have received recently:

“We have always received excellent, well considered and timely advice that remains consistent with our Christian culture and the value we place on the cannon of scripture.”

Deborah Robinson | Head of HR, United Christian Broadcasters

“Excellent communication. Compassionate consideration. Clear explanation. Patience!”

Robin Merrifield | Pastor, Duffield Baptist Church

“It is quite delightful to know that there is a law firm like this that shares our views on the fundamental teachings of the Bible.”

Francis Odudu | District Treasurer, Apostolic Faith Mission UK

Letting us know how we could do better

But we realise that sometimes we could have done things better and that even when we have the best intentions we may not always meet your needs in the way you hoped. We really want you to feel able to share that with us. Our vision is that the provision of our Christ-centred legal expertise will have a positive gospel impact, so if you know of ways we can do that better, we would love to hear from you.

Please speak to the person dealing with your matter in the first instance, or if that doesn’t seem appropriate, you are always welcome to contact our Managing Director, Gemma Adam ([email protected]).

Legal Ombudsman rule changes

It is our prayer that it will never be needed but, like all law firms, we have a complaints policy in place and ultimately clients have the right to go to the Legal Ombudsman if they aren’t satisfied with how any complaint is dealt with.

We are required to let you know that the Ombudsman’s rules are changing from 1 April 2023. These changes effectively encourage clients to bring complaints to the Ombudsman more quickly (the previous rules allowed up to 6 years, which was causing some problems). We are changing our complaints policy and terms of business from 1 April 2023 to reflect this. If you would like more details, please contact us, or have a look at this guide on the Legal Ombudsman’s website.

Please give us a call if you want to talk through your requirements and find out how we might be able to help you.
