Vanessa is a dual-qualified solicitor, qualified in England and Wales (2024) and in Hong Kong (2019). She has recently joined our Charities Team, and specialises in advising churches and Christian organisations on governance and constitutional matters, trustee duties and how churches can become Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs).
She trained at a mid-sized Legal 500 firm in Hong Kong and worked there in the Corporate and Commercial team after qualification. She later took a career break with her husband and moved to Dallas for seminary, to be better equipped for ministry. They subsequently relocated to Oxford, where her husband is pursuing further education in New Testament studies.
They are part of the church family at Oxford Chinese Gospel Church.
